Before the meet lifters will be informed of their flights. Flights are the group of around 10-12 lifters you will lift in line with. You will stay with this group throughout the meet, as long as you are lifting in the same events. Make a mental note of who’s in your flight, it will help you know when you should start warming up. Lifters will lift in order of lightest attempts to heaviest. All lifters in the flight will take one attempt at their opening weights, after the last lifter in the flight has attempted their opener second attempts will start, and after third attempts. After each attempt proceed to the scoring table where you will be allowed to select your next attempt weight. You may increase your next attempt by at least 2.5kg. Once an attempt is made you may NOT lower the weight whether you succeed of miss the lift.
At the conclusion of the flight, the other flights will take the platform in order until all lifters have completed their attempts.
After all lifters have finished their three attempts, there will be a brief intermission before proceeding to the next movement
