  ATTENTION

  State Chairman & Meet Directors

  Did you know?

American records can be broke at State and Local meets provided the proper paperwork is filled out.  It must be announced at the meet that it is the lifter’s responsibility to fill out the application, but it is the meet directors responsibility to have the paperwork available.  Record application claim forms can be printed from our website or call the office in advance to order them.

As of November 2004 we established bench only APF and AAPF records.  All are listed on our website and many are still open.

A lifter that competes in a full meet can claim a bench only record, however a lifter who enters in the bench only cannot claim a record in the full Powerlifting.

The Glossbrenner Formula should now be used at all APF/AAPF meets.  You can get the formula off our website. (www.worldpowerliftingcongress.com )

Fourth attempts can only be taken at World and National meets for world record purposes only.  A lifter can only take a 4th attempt provided they made their 3rd attempt.
